Doreen Amorosa
Associate Dean and Managing Director

As the associate dean and managing director of the Georgetown MBA Career Center, Doreen serves as the faculty liaison and is responsible for managing the MBA Career Management strategy, team direction, student, faculty, alumni, and university relationships within the McDonough School of Business. In addition to these efforts, Doreen manages the recruiting strategies, networking opportunities, and employer relationship development globally.

Prior to her career at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Doreen served as the vice president for global recruitment and workforce planning at American Express, where she managed the recruitment strategy both within the United States and globally. Her experience also includes serving as the vice president of resourcing at ICI; director of talent acquisition at Avaya; and more than 20 years of experience working with Merrill Lynch, where she oversaw recruitment, staffing, diversity initiatives, and HR policy. Doreen holds an MBA from Seton Hall University and earned a BSBA degree in Management from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Throughout the last half of her corporate experience, Doreen was a member of the McDonough School of Business Board of Advisors.

Assistant Dean of the MBA Career Curricula
 
Patty serves as the assistant dean of the MBA career curricula, overseeing MBA Full-Time and MBA Evening Program career education. As a member of the core faculty, Patty delivers original material in both classroom and workshop formats. Her insights into professionalism and career advancement stem from her own professional foundations in search, placement, and human resource management. Since 2003, Patty has committed her expertise to the inspiration and career preparation of emerging global business leaders and gears content to this specific audience. She holds an Executive Masters in Leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Philosophy and Politics from Catholic University, and she is a Certified Career Management Coach.

David Jacobs
Manager of Data and Business Intelligence

As the manager of data and business intelligence, David monitors MBA Career Center metrics, employment statistics, technology support, virtual recruitment and the online Career Center resources. Prior to joining the Career Center, David managed the recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes for the MBA Evening Program. David also supported certain extra-curricular functions of the program, including the Ambassador Program and the ESGA. David received his BS in Finance from the University of Arizona where he partook in a work-abroad program in London. Prior to working at Georgetown, David worked as a financial advisor, having received his Series 6, 63, and 65.

Office Coordinator of the Georgetown MBA Career Center Hospitality and Operations
 
Serving as the office coordinator of the Georgetown MBA Career Center Hospitality and Operations, Marva manages all office activity, supports student and employer relationships, oversees interview room coordination, and assists with visiting employer services. Marva joined the Georgetown MBA Career Center in May 2009 after a 16-year career as a senior recruiter with the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT). Marva earned a General Studies Certificate from the University of London.
 
 

Jennifer Boynton

Associate Director (Financial Services, Real Estate)
 
As the associate director of our Financial Services and Real Estate team, Jennifer manages career coaching, job search strategies, vision clarification, industry exploration, and student club relations. With regard to employers, Jennifer’s responsibilities include employer relations and development, recruitment strategies, alumni relations, faculty partnerships, employer feedback, and networking. Jennifer joined the Georgetown MBA Career Center after a 10-year career in equity sales and trading, where she spent nine years as an equity sales trader at Goldman Sachs and one year as a trader at Atticus Capital. She earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Engineering from Tufts University.
 
  

Jennifer Moughalian

Jen Moughalian
Associate Director (Consulting)

Jen serves as the associate director focused on the Consulting industry, where she assists students with career coaching, job search strategies, vision clarification, industry exploration, and student club relations. When working with employers, Jen oversees employer relations and development, alumni relations, recruitment strategies, faculty partnerships, employer feedback, and networking. After working nearly 15 years in the consulting, government, and non-profit industries, Jen joined the Georgetown MBA Career Center in 2009.

After earning her MBA/MPM, Jen’s career focused on healthcare, working as a management consultant focused on strategy with The Chartis Group. She also served as a team lead in the Health Division at the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and as a consultant at The Advisory Board Company. Prior to pursuing her MBA, Jen worked in education and taught ESL in Madrid, Spain. She holds MBA and MPM degrees from the University of Maryland, an Advanced Certificate in Spanish from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a B.A. from the University of Richmond.

Associate Director (Entertainment & Media, Manufacturing, Technology & New Media)
 
As the associate director who leads relationship building with employers and students interested in Technology & New Media, Entertainment & Media and Manufacturing industries, Eric oversees student career and undecided coaching, job search strategies, vision clarification, industry exploration, and student club relations. When working with industry employers, Eric manages employer relations and development, recruitment strategies, alumni relations, faculty partnerships, employer feedback, and networking. Eric joined the Georgetown MBA Career Center following a 20-year international career at Accenture where he began his career as a technology consultant and ultimately served as the HR director for Accenture's Global Corporate Functions, leading career development and people initiatives for 15,000 individuals across 12 corporate functions in 52 countries. Eric holds a B.A. in Economics from University of Maryland and an M.A. in Organizational Management from The George Washington University.

Associate Director (Consumer Goods & Retail, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare)

Liz serves as the associate director focused on the Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail industries, Healthcare industry, and Entrepreneurship. Liz advises on career management strategies, vision clarification, student club relations and industry exploration. When working with industry employers, Liz manages employer relations, and development, alumni relations, recruitment strategies, employer feedback, and networking. After earning a B.S. from Cornell University in Hotel Administration and an MBA from the Wharton School, Liz’s career focused on consumer products marketing. She has worked in product management positions with Procter and Gamble, Kraft, Vlasic Foods and Kimberly Clark as well as in entrepreneurial ventures.

Supporting the Government, International Development, and Not-for-Profit industries, Laura offers her expertise in student career coaching, job search advising, mock interviews, cover letter and resume reviews, as well as student club relations. Her responsibilities working with employers include on-campus recruitment management, recruitment strategies, employer relations, job postings, alumni coordination, and networking. Prior to joining the Georgetown MBA Career Center, Laura worked as a career consultant in George Mason University’s School of Management Career Services, where she managed internship programs and coached undergraduate business students. She earned an M.S. in College Student Personnel from Miami University in Ohio and a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Iowa.

Assistant Director (Energy & CleanTech, Hospitality & Tourism)
 
As the assistant director coaching students interested in the Hospitality & Tourism and Energy & Cleantech industry sectors, Gene advises on career management strategies including networking, mock interviews, resume and cover letter review. Gene manages and develops employer relationships regarding recruitment strategies, including on/off campus touch points, job postings, and alumni coordination. A graduate of Georgetown's McDonough School of Business with a B.S. in Marketing and Management, Gene has worked in South Korea and South Africa in the areas of strategy and sales, as well as market research. He has consulted the US Postal Service on their supply chain technology solutions, and most recently spent four years as a business analyst for a travel technology company.
