Presenting and Interviewing on Campus
Host a Presentation
The most successful companies recruiting at Georgetown conduct a corporate presentation and reception to introduce students to their organizations, hiring practices and career opportunities. Presentations are also a good time for companies to begin targeting candidates.
Hold an Information Session
Information sessions are typically held the night before interviews and only include students who have been invited to interview. Some companies have formal dinners and others prefer to keep the event casual. Most information sessions are not held on campus. The Career Management team can help you identify the right location for your event.
Advertise Your Jobs and Events
The Career Management Team is available to assist you to make all of your events successful. We will coordinate the following at no charge:
- Announcement in our weekly newsletter
- Inclusion on calendars and recruiting systems
- Advertising via e-mail with targeted MBA student organizations
We also recommend that you place an advertisement in the Georgetown Globe, a student-published, monthly MBA newsletter with both print and online editions.
For Globe advertising rates, email MBA-Globe@msb.edu.
Interview on Campus
If you plan to interview more than a few Georgetown MBAs, interviewing on campus is the most visible and efficient way to fill your full-time and summer internship positions. The Career Management Suite has wireless access, eight interview rooms and a Recruiter's Lounge for your convenience.
Make the Offer
Students value and appreciate a quick turnaround, whether it's being invited back for final interviews or extending offers. We have found that employers see the best yield with offers that are given soon after an interview.
