The McDonough School of Business faculty have strong academic and professional backgrounds and contribute to the development of our theme areas. Many have held positions in business or government; lived, worked, or studied abroad; and been educated at many of the best academic institutions around the world.

One of the traditions at Georgetown University is strong student-faculty interaction. The School of Business faculty are available to students, working together on research projects and career decision-making. Faculty members also serve as advisors to student clubs in the MBA Program where their expertise in functional areas serves as a great resource for students planning events of professional interest. MBA Scholars enjoy a unique relationship with faculty members as they assist them in their research activities.

Georgetown faculty members concentrate on both research and teaching. Their research impacts the scholarly world and the practice of business, and enhances the learning in the classroom.
