Core courses in the Full-time MBA program span the fall and spring terms, providing 12 weeks of in-class instruction. Faculty members collaborate or integrate several of these courses, from design to delivery. As a result, students gain integrative business skills across subjects to better prepare them for internships, careers, and other ventures.
For example, in Principled Leadership for Business and Society, students expand their studies beyond financial statements to consider the value of people and the environment in making business decisions. In Leadership and Social Intelligence, students develop the confidence to manage with emotional intelligence. They cultivate the ability to think critically and act quickly in new or pressure-filled situations.
The learning experience extends beyond the classroom as students work in their cohorts to further test and apply their knowledge. Students form teams for case competitions, complete consulting projects for nonprofit and for-profit business, and start their own.
