Meet the Admissions Team
Shari Hubert, Associate Dean
Shari Hubert joins Georgetown McDonough with significant experience in the public and private sectors. Most recently, Shari worked in the federal government with the U.S. Peace Corps as the Director of Recruitment within the Office of Volunteer Recruitment and Selection. In this capacity, she was responsible for the strategy to attract and recruit 4,000 Volunteers annually and managed the operations of nine regional recruitment offices across the United States.
Prior to joining the Peace Corps, Shari was the Senior Vice President of Campus Recruitment for Citi’s Global Bank in North America and was responsible for overseeing the recruitment of Analysts and Associates into the Corporate and Investment Banks as part of Citi’s Markets & Banking Division. She also held a position at GE's corporate headquarters, where she served as Manager, Campus Relations in Corporate Recruiting and Staffing. In this role, she was responsible for the overall recruiting efforts and budget allocation across the southeast region of GE’s strategic university relationships.
Shari has experience in the not-for-profit sector, where she ran an executive leadership and civic development program named in honor of David Rockefeller at the Partnership for New York City, a business advocacy association focused on public and private partnerships. Immediately after receiving her MBA from Harvard Business School, Shari was a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group. Finally, she began her career in sales and marketing at Merck and Co., Inc., after graduating cum laude, with a bachelor's degree in French from Dartmouth College in 1992.
Elizabeth Del Real, Assistant Director
Elizabeth oversees the application operations and processing for MBA Programs to ensure that each applicant’s file is complete and ready for review by the admissions committee. Elizabeth previously worked for the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission and is a 2010 graduate of Boston College from the School of Arts and Sciences with a double major in Political Science and Economics, and a minor in Faith, Peace and Justice. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Georgetown.
'Iolani Lightbourne, Associate Director
David Jacobs, Assistant Director
David oversees the analysis of MBA Admissions data and information. David joined the McDonough School of Business in 2010 and has worked in both the MBA Admissions Office and the MBA Career Center. He received his BS in Finance from the University of Arizona, where he participated in a work-abroad program in London. Prior to working at Georgetown, David worked as a financial advisor, having received his Series 6, 63, and 65. David is currently pursuing his MBA at Georgetown.
|Caitlin March, Marketing & Events Coordinator|
Caitlin coordinates logistics for all admissions events and helps to facilitate on-campus visits for prospective students to the Full-time and Evening MBA programs. Prior to joining the team in 2013, March worked at Ketchum Communications where she specialized in materials development and social media account management for corporate clients. In addition to her PR experience, March also brings knowledge of the nonprofit sector and video production to the team. March plans to continue her study of the communications and marketing field at Georgetown University.
Corey McKeon, Assistant Director
Corey directs online marketing, communications and recruitment for MBA Admissions. He joined Georgetown University at the Law Center in 2010 before joining the McDonough School of Business. In 2012, he completed a master’s degree in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown's Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. Corey previously worked for several years in retail banking while completing a degree in marketing at Johnson & Wales University.
Devin Owens, Front Office Coordinator
Katelyn Rosa Stephenson, Assistant Dean
Prior to coming to Georgetown in March 2008, Katelyn worked in undergraduate admissions at The George Washington University. She received a bachelor’s degree in English with minors in Spanish and Women’s Studies from Boston College, a master’s degree in Education from the University of Notre Dame, and completed coursework toward a doctorate in Higher Education Administration with a focus on International Education.
Michael Templeman, Director
Michael Templeman directs marketing and recruiting for the Full-time MBA and MBA Evening Programs. He joined the McDonough School of Business in 2006 to support the launch of the MBA Evening Program. Michael completed his Executive MBA at Georgetown McDonough and holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from Marietta College in Ohio. While an undergraduate, Michael completed a semester abroad in India. Prior to joining Georgetown McDonough, Michael served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Malawi, East Africa.

Amanda Wayner, Admissions Coordinator
Amanda Wayner provides support for application processing operations and marketing for admissions. She joined Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business in 2012 originally as the Front Office Coordinator. Amanda graduated from Ohio University in June 2012 with a degree in Political Science. Prior to arriving at Georgetown, she worked at Ohio University in the Office of the Dean of Students and as a Student Orientation leader.
