Georgetown University and Washington University in St. Louis collaborate with FDA on drug manufacturing performance study
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration will collaborate with Assistant Professor Jeffrey T. Macher of the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and Associate Professor Jackson A. Nickerson of the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis as part of its strategic initiative to modernize the regulation of pharmaceutical manufacturing and product quality.

Dean Search Committee in Place
Following up on Georgetown University President John J. DeGioia's August 2002 charge to launch an international search for a permanent successor to former dean Christopher P. Puto, the university has named a 10-person search committee.
The charge of the committee is to provide the President with a list of 3-5 unranked candidates by the early part of the spring semester 2004 and to maintain the strictest confidence.

Students, faculty and staff of the International Executive MBA (IEMBA) program at Georgetown University's Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business Friday hosted the Vietnamese ambassador to the United States, Nguyen Tam Chien, and other ministers at a Vietnamese-style dinner, one of a series of events for their International Residency - a required element of the IEMBA curriculum.

Prem C. Jain Named Elsa Carlson McDonough Chair in Business Administration at Georgetown University
The Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University today celebrates the appointment of Prem C. Jain as the inaugural Elsa Carlson McDonough Chair in Business Administration. The chaired professorship was established by benefactor Robert Emmett McDonough (F'49) in honor of his first wife, Elsa, who died in 1994.

U.S. News Ranks Georgetown MBA in Top 25 for 3rd Year
Washington, DC - April 4, 2003-For the third consecutive year, the MBA program at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business was ranked among the top 25 schools in the country by U.S.News & World Report. In the newly released 2004 edition of America's Best Graduate Schools and its upcoming April 14th issue, U.S. News placed the Georgetown MBA at No. 24 out of the 365 accredited master's programs in business surveyed.
