Business Strategy Challenge to Feature 15 Schools, Feb. 26-27
WHAT: Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business will host the 2010 Business Strategy Challenge, a case competition that asks teams of undergraduate students to find solutions to a real problem faced by a non-profit organization.
Georgetown McDonough School of Business Teams Win First Place in Three Separate Case Competitions, Feb. 17-19
Washington, D.C. – Teams of students from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business MBA Full-Time program have earned first place in three separate case competitions over the past week: the ACG Cup, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Venture Capital Investment Competition, and the San Diego State University International Sports MBA Case Competition.
Classes in the Global Executive MBA (Georgetown Campus) Program that were missed due to recent snow days have been rescheduled in March.

Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business to Host Event April 8-9
Washington, D.C. – The Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business Graduate Student Consulting Group will host its first Strategy World Cup case competition April 8 and 9, 2010.
Due to expected inclement weather on Tuesday evening, the REIT CEO Summit scheduled to be held at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business on Feb. 9, 2010, has been postponed. The event is being rescheduled, and a new date will be announced soon.
William Novelli, distinguished professor of the practice at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, has been asked to serve as a member of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Debt Reduction Task Force.
Co-chaired by former Senator Pete Domenici and Alice Rivlin, the Domenici-Rivlin Task Force will develop a comprehensive, balanced, and politically viable package of spending reductions and revenue increases for expedited consideration by Congress and the Obama Administration. A plan is expected to be released later this year.
