Georgetown's McDonough School IEMBA Program is Ninth in Business Week Ranking

Washington, D.C. - Business Week ranks Georgetown's McDonough School international executive M.B.A. (I.E.M.B.A.) program at #9 in its October 15th issue. This marks Georgetown's debut in the Business Week executive M.B.A. rankings. Business Week ranked Georgetown number one for strategy and global business, number two in marketing, and number five in ethics. "Georgetown...garner[s] kudos for its strong international emphasis and good faculty," writes Business Week.

Business Week surveyed the Class of 2001 and program directors, weighing both polls equally to arrive at its ranking. The magazine last ranked these programs in 1991.

Georgetown's I.E.M.B.A. program, founded in 1994, also received As from graduates for teaching and curriculum.

"We are pleased to be ranked among the nation's leading executive M.B.A. programs, and to be recognized for our undeniable strengths," says Lisa Kaminski, assistant dean and director of executive education."

The Business Week rankings are available at www.businessweek.com
