MBA Student Gives Back to Hometown
Despite being busy with coursework, Robert Johnson, an MBA student at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, has been traveling back to his hometown of Staten Island, N.Y., to volunteer with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

MBA Students Reach Goal of 1000 Hours of Service
This year marks the Georgetown McDonough MBA Volunteer Club's second annual Month of Volunteerism (MOV). This club organizes community service projects across a broad range of opportunities and organizations with a goal for Georgetown McDonough to reach 1,000 service hours in November. As of November 19, the McDonough community has contributed more than 1,000 hours, secured nearly 100 events, and worked with more than 60 organizations.

DC Unveils 5-Year Economic Development Strategy Created by MBA Students
Georgetown McDonough School of Business Dean David A. Thomas joined District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray, Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development Victor Hoskins, GW Business School Dean Doug Guthrie, and Richard Lake from Roadside Development to unveil "The Five-Year Economic Development Strategy for the District of Columbia" at a press conference on November 14 at the District's Kennedy Recreation Center on 7th Street, NW.
