Net Impact Presents Chapter of the Year Award to Georgetown's McDonough School of Business

Citing the depth of activities in membership development, educational programming, commitment to Net Impact, and service offered by Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business chapter, Net Impact presented its Chapter of the Year Award to the school.

The award was presented at Net Impact's 12th annual conference, "Business Leaders Building a Better World," at Columbia Business School on November 13. The conference drew participants from 80 business schools, 167 companies and 11 countries.

The McDonough School has been an active participant in Net Impact annual conferences since its inaugural event at Georgetown University in 1993, when the organization was known as Students for Responsible Business.

Second-year MBA student Stephani K. Stevenson, president of the Georgetown Net Impact chapter, accepted the award on behalf of the school, which also included a monetary award of $500.
