    A business tip by Ivy Cohen (MBA’86), was published in It’s Your Business by JJ Ramberg, host of MSNBC’s Your Business. Her tip stems from her 11 years of experience leading Ivy Cohen Corporate Communications, Inc. The book is filled with smart and easy tips for running a company. In tip #19, Cohen advises that to ensure that senior professionals are going to stay engaged once they are hired, the best way is to include this clause in the contract.

  • Executive Education Alumna Appointed White House Fellow

    Ariel Grace Batungbacal, a graduate of the Georgetown McDonough School of Business Executive Master’s in Leadership program, has been selected to join the 2012-13 Class of White House Fellows.

    As a fellow, Batungbacal, who is a major in the U.S. Air Force, will take part in an education program designed to broaden her knowledge of leadership, policy formulation, and current affairs. Fellows also participate in service projects throughout the year in the Washington, D.C., area.

  • Building a Bridge of Hope

    While in South Africa for his Global Experience consulting project, Jim Kyle had the opportunity to collaborate with nurses at the Jubilee District Hospital in Johannesburg. Also a nurse, Kyle saw the challenges that his counterparts there face and was inspired to find a way to help them overcome those challenges. The graduate student from the Executive Master’s in Leadership program at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business personally donated Samsung Galaxy tablets to encourage continued nursing leadership growth and development.
