Best Companies for Leadership Come to McDonough

Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business will host the honorees of the Hay Group’s Best Companies for Leadership on Tuesday, March 25, in the Rafik B. Hariri Building’s Fisher Colloquium.

Jay Turk, senior consultant at the Hay Group, will discuss the organization’s Best Companies for Leadership study, which is now in its eighth year and included more than 18,000 individuals from 2,200 organizations. This year’s global top 20 best companies for leadership include Proctor & Gamble, Microsoft, General Electric, Coca-Cola, Unilever, IBM, Wal-Mart, McDonald’s, Telefonica, Facebook, Intel, Samsung, 3M, Nestle, Siemens, Oracle, Citigroup, Caterpillar, Toyota, and Ford Motor Company.

The event also will feature a panel discussion with Robert Bies, professor of management at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business; Laura Mattimore, director of leadership and development at Proctor & Gamble; Carrolyn Bostick, chief human resources officer at the Federal Aviation Administration; and Melissa King, chief learning officer at the Federal Aviation Administration.

The program is open to McDonough School of Business students, staff, and alumni free of charge. RSVP for the event. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and includes a continental breakfast, followed by the presentations from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
