Georgetown Global Forum Launches in Mexico City

Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business launched the inaugural Georgetown Global Forum in Mexico City on October 16. The series brings together alumni, corporate partners, friends of Georgetown, and prospective MBA students for an evening of networking and discussion in different cities around the world.

Marcos Alcocer, MBA '88, executive president of Alsa Holdings, SA, hosted the Mexico City event at Club Circulo, which featured an MBA admissions information session and a special presentation by J. Bradford Jensen, professor of international business and economics at Georgetown McDonough, about his book, Global Trade Services: Fear, Facts, and Offshoring.

Representatives from the school, including Elaine Romanelli, senior associate dean for MBA programs; Lori Winters, assistant director of the Full-time MBA Program; Doreen Amorosa, associate dean and managing director of the MBA Career Center; and Chris Kormis, associate dean and chief marketing officer, also were at the event to meet with alumni and prospective students.
