Students from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business won first place at the International Hilltop Business Strategy Consulting Competition. The non-profit case competition is organized by Hilltop Consultants, a student-run consulting group at Georgetown McDonough, and features a client with 501-3(c) status. The undergraduate team of Christina Hu, James Li, Andrew Theodotou, and Patrick Wyman were chosen for their recommendations for Goodwill Industries of Greater Washington, D.C.

The competition brought together 20 teams of students from universities in the United States, Canada, Asia, Australia, and Europe. Teams participating in the weekend-long competition came up with unique and sustainable solutions in response to the client’s need.

This achievement marks only the second time Georgetown McDonough has won the competition in the nine years it has been held, with the most recent first-place finish in 2006.
