How to Apply

The Georgetown MBA Program recognizes that the business school application process can be daunting. The Admissions team is a resource for you as you work through the process. The Admissions Committee evaluates applications holistically and makes decisions based on a collection of documents, personal interactions, test scores, and other items.

Competitive applicants for admission to the Georgetown MBA Program hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and have substantial post-baccalaureate work experience. The average Georgetown MBA student has five years of work experience prior to enrolling in the program.

Official transcripts indicating previous academic achievement and official GMAT scores demonstrate an applicant’s aptitude for quantitative coursework and other analytical skills required by the Georgetown MBA Program. The Admissions Committee considers the qualitative aspects of the application and makes decisions based on a comprehensive review of applicants’ work experience, résumés, essays, and letters of recommendation, as well as evaluative interviews.
