  • Financial Times Ranks Georgetown's MBA Full-Time Program #17 of U.S. Business Schools

    The Financial Times 2011 survey of full-time MBA programs, published on Monday, January 31, ranked the MBA Full-Time Program at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business number 17 among U.S. business schools, up two slots from last year's position of 19.  The program remains 38th among the world's top MBA programs, the same position it held last year.  Additionally, Georgetown's MBA Full-Time Program ranked #3 in the world in international business.
  • Paul Brigner

    MBA Student Named Officer at Motion Picture Association of America

    Paul Brigner, a student in the MBA Evening Program at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business, recently was named senior vice president and chief technology policy officer at the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) in Washington. As the first person to hold this role for the organization, Brigner will serve as the lead executive on technology issues impacting the protection of intellectual property. He also will be directly involved in work on industry-wide content standards and will enable consumers to easily access content in the digital age.

    James Dalkin, an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, has been named to the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of CPAs.
     
    The Auditing Standards Board is the AICPA’s senior technical committee for auditing, attestation, and quality control applicable to audit and attestation reports for non-issuers.
