    When senior Emily Infeld walked into the Jacksons Track Center in Nampa, Idaho on March 10, she walked in as a nine-time All-American with one race ahead of her. She walked out as an NCAA Champion and now a 10-time All-American after winning the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:15.44 at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Boise State.

    MBA Students Finish First in Venture Capital Investment Competition

    On Friday, February 24, 2012, a team of Georgetown McDonough MBAs won the 15th annual Mid-Atlantic Regional Venture Capital Investment Competition held at the Wharton School of Business. According the venture capitalist judging panel, the Georgetown McDonough team did the best job analyzing business plans, conducting due diligence with entrepreneurs, structuring a term sheet, and negotiating a deal. Other schools competing at the event included the University of Virginia, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard, MIT, and the University of Maryland.

    Hilltop Case Competition Draws Schools from Across the Globe

    In February, Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business hosted the 8th Annual McDonough-Hilltop Business Strategy Challenge. The final round of the competition was held on Saturday, February 18, in Lohrfink Auditorium. Twenty undergraduate teams from around the world came to Georgetown to compete, including students from Shantau University in China.
