Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business provides the ideal global learning community for working professionals who aspire to lead at a higher level while continuing their careers. The MBA Evening Program is taught by the same faculty, follows the same core MBA courses, and confers the same degree as Georgetown’s Full-time MBA Program. Through our unique, integrative curriculum students learn core business skills, engage in experiential learning, and transform into global business leaders.

Georgetown’s immersive educational strategies draw from the combined excellence and experience of our faculty and our Jesuit heritage. As academic scholars, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs, our faculty members inspire students to become stewards in business. They provide each student with the skills to manage and lead a business, organization, or project with insight, integrity, and success.

All students begin by taking individual core classes including accounting, finance, marketing, strategy, decision sciences, economics, and management. Starting in the third semester, Evening Program students begin to tailor the curriculum to meet their interests and current or future professional needs by taking elective courses in addition to core classes.

Through complex coursework, experiential learning and the case method, the Georgetown MBA curriculum inspires collaboration among both students and faculty. A comprehensive and challenging core curriculum with an emphasis on ethical leadership provides students with a general management framework that is crucial for continued professional accomplishments. Specialized electives allow students to tailor their coursework and further strengthen their professional skill set to advance in today's global marketplace.

In addition to the intensive and multidisciplinary coursework, Georgetown’s MBA Evening Program is built upon a cohort system that divides each incoming class into teams who learn and grow together in classes and experiences throughout the three years of the program. Students work with and learn from fellow professionals, sharing knowledge and experience from a diverse cross section of business sectors.
