The M.A. in International Business & Policy (MA-IBP) program is led by two co-academic directors, Marc Busch from the Walsh School of Foreign Service, and Dennis Quinn from the McDonough School of Business, with support from Georgetown McDonough's Office of Executive Education led by Paul Almeida, deputy dean for innovation and executive education.

"Today’s world of global business and government calls for leaders who can understand and operate within a world of political change and economic uncertainty while remaining true to their ethical values.

Now there is a one-year graduate program that blends the strength of the oldest and most highly regarded school of foreign service in the world with a top-tier business school with proven experience in educating global, principled leaders who serve business and society.

We are proud to introduce the Master of Arts in International Business and Policy from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Foreign Service. In this interdisciplinary program, students will participate in a series of six intensive modules — two of which are held abroad — along with two online courses designed to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. In keeping with the university’s Jesuit values, students also will complete one social action project to inspire or implement social change in their communities.

Thank you for your interest in this exciting new program. We invite you to explore our website to learn more and to see you at one of our future events.

Paul Almeida is deputy dean for innovation and executive education (degree and non-degree programs) and professor of strategy and international business at the McDonough School of Business.
