RESIDENCIES

Five of the 30 credit hours that make up the Executive Master's in Leadership are taken as "residencies" or a "leadership seminar series." Learning in a residency relies heavily on experience, knowledge sharing, and critical and reflective thinking.

The opening residency will emphasize the roles of passion, purpose, and practical skills that are the foundation of leadership. As part of this residency, students will develop personal learning and action plans for becoming more effective leaders. The second residency will use a case study of a transformative event to examine leadership decisions and strageties.  The final residency will focus on leadership in action. The lives of those who have exhibited ethical and moral leadership will be examined.

Opening Residency: The Leadership Journey: Passion, Purpose, and Practical Skills
Integrative Case Residency: Leadership Lessons: Strategic and Ethical Issues
Closing Residency: Leadership in Action
