Georgetown University’s Executive Education Programs offer networking and professional development opportunities to program participants seeking to further develop their network of contacts.

Executive Development and International Networking Program

Georgetown Executive Education enhances Executive degree coursework with a comprehensive International Professional Development and Networking program. The purpose of the program is to provide the most relevant, effective and beneficial set of Professional Development & Networking services for the executives who participate in MSB’s degree programs. These best in class services include access to CareerBeam, Career Accelerator, an Executive Guest Speaker and Panel Series, and individual counseling.

Access to CareerBeam includes use of extensive virtual career center technology and experienced career coaches, resume writers, and lead generation specialists. Their coaching expertise applies to executives who are seeking to advance in their current organizations, pursue entrepreneurial goals, as well as those considering a career change.

The Executive Guest Speaker & Panel Series is an integral and expanding part of the Executive Professional Development & Networking Program. These sessions focus on the topics in greatest demand by the executive students themselves. Speaker topics cut across industry, function and geography.

A dedicated executive counselor is available to individuals as well as the class as a whole to help clarify Executive Professional Development objectives and connect students with the right executive professional development resources. These may include alumni contacts, coaches beyond CareerBeam, as well as many other resources. Emphasis is on assisting students to develop and strengthen their networks and to make important professional connections, particularly with executive mentors both inside and outside the Georgetown community.
