MBA Career Management Program

The Office of MBA Career Management at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business partners with students, employers, alumni, faculty and staff to build connections to the global market for talent and helps facilitate the career goals of Georgetown MBA students.

Taking into account their past experience, focus of study, and future goals, students begin their consultation with the Office of MBA Career Management by conducting a self-assessment to analyze any gaps that exist in their employment potential. Students simultaneously conduct market research within their chosen industry to identify how they can adapt and improve their personal brand to best suit their chosen career track.

Our goals are to help students develop a strategic career plan by learning to articulate their value to potential employers and craft memorable and highly relevant résumés, cover letters, verbal pitches, and interview strategies. Career coaches assess student strengths, interests, expertise, and market opportunities, identifying opportunities for students to focus their advancement efforts.By establishing networks within the business community and attracting employers to the Georgetown McDonough School of Business, the Office of MBA Career Management advocates on behalf of the entire Georgetown MBA community.
