Experienced professionals in the workforce understand the value of working in teams to learn from one another, incorporate a broader viewpoint, and to tackle complex assignments. To reflect this real-world aspect, the Georgetown MBA program employs a team-centered approach for certain aspects of coursework and residency-related projects. As a first-year student, you will be assigned to a team comprised of students from various professional and cultural backgrounds. This diversity of experience allows teams to benefit from numerous perspectives and a deeper skill set. Depending on the assignmemt, you will work in either your small team (approximately four students) or large team (approximately eight students). Second-year students serve as Team Advisors to help first-year MBAs manage team dynamics and to advise teams on how they might organize to best manage project responsibilities.
