In addition, The Distinguished Speakers Series is a fundamental component of the Georgetown University Women's Leadership Initiative (GUWLI.) GUWLI hosts a semi-annual panel discussion (one in the fall and another in the spring) of eminent female politicians and businesswomen. These women share their experiences, discuss their career trajectories, highlight their achievements, and offer strategies for achieving economic empowerment and social advancement.
