Brooks Holtom Recognized by the Academy of Management
Brooks Holtom, associate professor of management at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, was recently awarded the 2013 Scholarly Achievement Award from the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management, on August 12. The award was given in recognition of his article, “When Employees Are Out of Step with Coworkers: How Job Satisfaction Trajectory and Dispersion Influence Individual- and Unit-Level Voluntary Turnover.”
The study takes a dynamic multi-level approach to examine how the relationship between an employee’s job satisfaction trajectory and subsequent turnover may change depending on the employee’s unit’s job satisfaction trajectory and its dispersion.
