Dean Search Committee in Place

July 18, 2003

Following up on Georgetown University President John J. DeGioia's August 2002 charge to launch an international search for a permanent successor to former dean Christopher P. Puto, the university has named a 10-person search committee.

The charge of the committee is to provide the President with a list of 3-5 unranked candidates by the early part of the spring semester 2004 and to maintain the strictest confidence.
