Film Screening of “An Inconvenient Tax” to Be Held, April 29

April 29, 2010

On Thursday, April 29, a film screening and discussion of An Inconvenient Tax will be held in the Hariri Building, Room 140, from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The event is co-sponsored by Hoyas for Liberty and the McDonough School of Business Center for Financial Institutions, Policy, and Governance.

An Inconvenient Tax sheds light on the intricacies of America’s tax code through a non-partisan presentation of U.S. tax history and current proposals to fix the code. The feature-length film aims to help Americans understand the complex issue and so that the country can start to fix a tax code that has seen more than 16,000 changes by Congress during the past two decades.
