Georgetown and ESADE Partner to Offer Global Management Executive Education Series

Joint Global Strategy program to be offered to senior executives this spring

ESADE Business School and Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business will offer a joint global management executive education series geared towards senior executives with international management responsibilities. The series will begin with a three-day Global Strategy Program, offered in ESADE's Madrid and Barcelona campuses in May and June.

"At ESADE, we have always believed in looking outwards and place real emphasis on an international perspective," said Xavier Mendoza, dean of ESADE Business School. "We believe a key aspect of commercial success is the ability to assimilate and adopt international management styles, and we are delighted this collaboration with Georgetown University will enable managers working in Spain to gain experience of both European and American management cultures and methods."

"This alliance represents a confluence of the unique and mutual strengths of Georgetown and ESADE," said John W. Mayo, dean of Georgetown's McDonough School. "We believe our 'joint venture' provides a model for the kind of international partnership that can exist between business schools to provide a rich educational experience for students and productive exchanges for faculty."

The schools formalized their alliance with a signing ceremony on Tuesday, March 9 when the deans of both ESADE and the McDonough School met in Barcelona.
