Georgetown MBAs Raise More Than $30,000 for Movember

Ninety-nine MBA students, staff, and faculty at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business raised $31,075 for Movember, making the Georgetown MBA team #1 in Washington D.C., #2 within the MBA Challenge network and #21 overall among 15,010 teams participating in the United States, according to Movember’s website.

“Within two years, the Georgetown MBA team has raised close to $60,000 to help fight men’s cancer,” said team captain William Fang. MBA students Anthony Silva, Matt Nicholson, Stu Chapman, Jane Mooney, Robert Kelly, Hank Murphey and Rich Warner each raised over one thousand dollars to contribute to 40 percent of the funds, while David Teitelbaum and Sean Reidy helped raise money by selling “Mo Ties.”
