Wendy Mastos-Lurquin won the second annual Gender in the Workplace Research Competition with her presentation, "Negotiation, Assertiveness and the Potential for Gender Backlash: Distinguishing what one asks from how one asks." The competition is sponsored by the Georgetown University Women's Leadership Initiative and the McDonough School of Business, and was held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on April 6, 2009.
