May 20, 2011 Brooks Holtom

An article published in the academic journal Organizational Dynamics by Georgetown McDonough School of Business Associate Professor Brooks Holtom has been recognized as being one of the five most cited articles in Organizational Dynamics in the last five years. Holtom conducted research for the article with the help of two Georgetown undergraduates.

The article, titled "Increasing Human and Social Capital by Applying Job Embeddedness Theory," was authored in 2006 by Holtom along with Tom Lee and Terence Mitchell, both of the University of Washington Business School. Organizational Dynamics focuses primarily on organizational behavior and development, human resources management, and strategic development.
