MBA Students Travel and Network During Career Treks

October 18, 2011

During a week-long break between courses this month, MBA students will be traveling in the United States and abroad to network and learn more about specific industries during the school’s Career Treks.

Organized by student clubs in conjunction with the MBA Career Center, Career Treks are designed to promote interaction and networking with alumni and other important leaders within the business community.

This fall, three international Career Treks will take students interested in careers abroad to Dubai, Hong Kong, and Madrid. In the United States, the treks have been organized around industries. Finance students will spend a week on Wall Street, and marketing students will interact with executives in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. Two Washington, D.C., treks also were organized for students interested in either energy or consulting.
