MBA Students Trek To California
March 07, 2012
Nearly double in size than last year’s group, the annual CalTrek trip took 46 Georgetown MBA students to California in January to visit 11 companies and the MBA career centers at Berkeley and Stanford.
This year’s companies were: UBS, Frog Design, Suntech, Accenture, New Sector Alliance, Pacific Gas & Electric, Clif Bar, Marin Software, Google, IDEO, and Apple.
Sponsored by Georgetown MBA California Business Alliance, CalTrek is a student group that facilitates West Coast recruitment across many industries and functional areas. Each January they organize a trip to the San Francisco Bay area to visit companies of interest to current students and network with Georgetown University alumni.
Georgetown McDonough’s Office of the Dean also hosted a Palo Alto reception with alumni from Apple, HP, Criteo, Google, Cisco, Kayne, and CBRE, among others. See reception photos here.
