MBA Team Wins Entrepreneur’s Choice Award
Five Georgetown McDonough School of Business MBA students earned one of the three top prizes at the regional Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) held in Pittsburgh on Feb. 18.
The MBA team of Clark Dumas, Brian Tichenor, Halem Manhbouli, Ray Hwang, and Zachary Klein won the Mid-Atlantic Regional Entrepreneur’s Choice Award at the 14th annual competition, which involves more than 1,000 MBA students from four continents.
VCIC is one of the premiere MBA competitions for venture capital and entrepreneurship. It has been holding competitions since 1998.
Other business schools winning at the Mid-Atlantic VCIC are from Emory, Duke, Wake Forest, the University of Chicago, Notre Dame, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Maryland, University of Virginia, Cal-Berkeley, Brigham Young University, and University of Washington.
The International Finals will be held in Chapel Hill, N.C., from April 14 to 16.
