Last month, the winners of the first quarter “Professors of the Mod” awards for the 2011 school year were announced by students in the Full-time MBA Program.
For Module 1, McDonough Professor of Accounting and Finance Prem Jain took honors for core courses amid an impressive field that included professors Brooks Holtom and Jose-Luis Guerrero. Professor Bardia Kamrad was recognized in the category of elective courses, edging out esteemed professors Cathy Tinsley, Sezer Ulku, and Arthur Dong.
The awards are a way for students to honor faculty at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. At the end of each quarter, MBA students vote for one professor teaching a core class and one teaching an elective class, with recipients recognized on the last day of classes for that term.
