Undergraduate marketing research students at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business visited and toured the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center with Adjunct Professor David Ashley on September 20.

The students heard from Doug Barry, senior trade specialist, U.S. Commercial Service for the U.S. Department of Commerce who was their guest speaker. They also met with Tony Overton, who represents the General Services Administration as director of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

The facility is owned and operated by the U.S. General Services Administration. It has a thriving global concourse with conference facilities, retail shops, a casual dining restaurant, and both Washington, D.C.’s largest food court, and parking garage. The founding vision for the building is to have it serve as a mixed-used facility tasked with promoting U.S. trade abroad.
