Women Making Waves Conference to Discuss Leadership

Women Making Waves, a day-long leadership conference hosted by Georgetown Women in Business and the Georgetown University Women’s Leadership Initiative, will bring together MBAs, Georgetown University students, alumni, industry professionals, executives, and political leaders in active discussion on Saturday, November 13, 2010.

Coordinated by MBA students at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, the conference will include a keynote speech by Suzanne Clark, CEO of Potomac Research Group. There also will be panel discussions about mentoring relationships and career sponsors, as well as senior executive leadership and an interactive skill building workshop. Corporate sponsors of the event include American Express and Ernst & Young.
The conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Rafik B. Hariri Building’s Fisher Colloquium. Those interested in attending should register online. Student tickets sell for $10 each; non-student tickets sell for $20 each.
