Daniel Jaffee joined Oil-Dri in 1987 after a year with Price Waterhouse. From 1990–1995 he served as CFO of the company. He became president of the company in 1995 and CEO in 1997, also serving as COO from 1995 to 1997.
Jaffee received an undergraduate degree from the McDonough School of Business and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University in 2004. His civic activities include serving as a member of the board of directors of the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago and as a trustee of the Chicago History Museum.
