Dasha Smith Dwin is executive vice president and global chief human resources officer for Sony Music Entertainment. Prior to joining Sony she was managing director, office of the chairman, and chief human resources officer for GCM Grosvenor, a leading global asset management firm. In this role, she is responsible for guiding the short — and long-term objectives of the firm and oversees human capital management, administration, communications, real estate, diversity and inclusion, and corporate and social responsibility. She also works closely with other members of the senior management team on a variety of strategic initiatives.
A native of Denver, Colorado, Dwin received a B.S. in finance from Georgetown University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia. She serves on the Georgetown University Board of Regents and the University of Virginia School of Law Board of Advisors. She also is a trustee of the Dalton School in New York City.
