Elaine Pochtar is an executive director in the Municipal Bond Department of Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Fixed Income Department. She joined the department at its inception in 1983, having graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School. She has served multiple terms on the Board of Advisors for McDonough and also is active in the Georgetown University Undergraduate Alumni Admissions Program, having served as an AAP interviewer for Northern New Jersey for the last 20 years.
Pochtar graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University. She and her husband, Jim Sweeney, live in Essex Fells, New Jersey, with their children, Danny and Allie.
