Board Member Jerry Longarzo
Jerry Longarzo is the managing partner of Klevan Longarzo Vance Blumensaadt LLP, a full-service entertainment law firm that specializes in representing actors, producers, directors, and writers in film, television, and on stage. KLVB also represents boutique scripted television studios, unscripted television production companies, U.S. networks and digital platforms in all aspects of development and production.
Longarzo previously served as executive vice president at Newscorp., where he oversaw the business affairs, legal affairs, scripted production, unscripted production, post production, and business development departments for Fox Television Studios and spearheaded the studio’s transition from a television movie business model to a scripted series model. During his tenure at Newscorp., Longarzo was involved in the creation and exploitation of “Burn Notice,” “White Collar,” “The Riches,” “Saving Grace,” “The Glades,” and “The Shield.” Prior to Newscorp, Longarzo held senior posts at The Walt Disney Company, where he managed business affairs for numerous successful television series ranging from “Home Improvement” and “Alias,” to “LOST” and “Desperate Housewives.” Longarzo began his legal career in New York as a corporate associate for the law firm Lord Day & Lord.
Longarzo earned a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and a BSBA, magna cum laude, from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business. In January of 2018, Longarzo won a Grammy in 2017 for “Best Music Film” for the HBO documentary film series “The Defiant Ones.” He is a member of the California and New York Bar Associations. He and his wife Diana have three sons and reside in Los Angeles, California.
