Karim El Solh has more than 26 years of experience in private equity, asset management, investment banking, and real estate. He is the founder and CEO of Gulf Capital, one of the largest and most active alternative asset management firms in the Middle East. Previously, he was CEO of the National Investor, head of European high yield capital markets at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette, and a senior investment banker at Citigroup. He also worked for five years at Price Waterhouse.
El Solh has a B.S. in civil engineering from Cornell University, an MBA from Georgetown University, a doctorate in economics from the Institute D’Etudes Politiques de Paris, and a Certified Management Accountant diploma.
