Board Member Paolo Cicchine
Paolo Cicchine is a Vice Chairman Global Healthcare, Head of EMEA and Asia Healthcare at Deutsche Bank. Previously, Paolo served as Managing Director and Global Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at Nomura International based in London. With over 25 years in Investment Banking, Paolo has advised numerous clients in landmark M&A and financing transactions in the pharmaceuticals, life sciences and medtech/services sectors. Most recently Paolo advised Takeda on the acquisition of Shire, the second largest transaction in pharmaceuticals, Grifols on their acquisition of Shanghai RAAS, the largest inbound China Healthcare transaction, and Bain/Cinven on the takeover of Stada, the largest such transaction in Europe. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Lehman Brothers, as an Executive Director at Dresdner Kleinwort, and started his career at JP Morgan in London.
Paolo holds a BSBA in economics and international finance from Georgetown. He also is a member of the McDonough School of Business Advisory Board and the Executive Committee of the Georgetown University City Alliance.
