Committee on Alumni Relations

The mission of the Committee on Alumni Relations is to provide advice on matters pertaining to alumni relations.  In particular, this committee will advise on strategies for engaging more alumni in the work of the school as well as suggest systems for ensuring good coordination in engagement strategies across the Admissions, Career Services, and Program offices.  The Council chair of this committee will work closely with the Assistant Dean for MBA Alumni Relations.

Committee on MBA Admissions

The Committee on MBA Admissions works closely with the Associate Dean for MBA Admissions to provide advice on strategies for engaging MBA alumni in the critical work of recruiting quality candidates to the various MBA programs.  In addition, the committee will review and advise more generally on MBA marketing and recruitment strategies overall. In collaboration with the Associate Dean for MBA Admissions, committee members are asked to aid in the promotion of the programs to prospective students.

Committee on MBA Career Services

The Committee on MBA Career Services works closely with the Associate Dean for MBA Career Services to provide advice on strategies for engaging MBA alumni in the critical work of placing MBA student in quality jobs and internships.  Committee members are expected to provide advice on strategies for engaging the MBA alumni as whole in promoting job postings, and may be asked to look for opportunities for MBA students to post for jobs and internships in their companies.

Committee on MBA Student Experience

The Committee on MBA Career Services works closely with the Associate Dean for MBA Programs to provide advice on strategies for engaging MBA alumni in the support of student and curricular activities throughout the course of the program.  Committee members may be asked to work with student groups on various initiatives as well as to provide advice on new curricular initiatives, e.g., technology enhanced learning.

Executive Committee

The mission of the Executive Committee is to coordinate and integrate the activities of the Council as a whole.  In addition to sharing information about the work of each committee to coordinate the work overall, the Executive Committee will ratify membership, review nominations for leadership and advise on advocacy and philanthropy initiatives.
