  • The Innovation and Engineering Dynamics of the Digital Economy (DC)

    On October 14, the Georgetown Center for Business and Public Policy and the Wireless Technology Association will host a technology and policy workshop at Georgetown’s School of Continuing Studies. The workshop, “The Innovation and Engineering Dynamics of the Digital Economy: Economic Transformation and Expansion Enabled by 5G,” will feature keynote remarks from Federal Trade Commissioner Maureen Olhausen and a panel of industry experts.

    The Georgetown MBA Alumni Ambassadors of New York invite you to the 2015 Georgetown MBA Alumni Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Clearview Park Golf Course in Bayside, Queens. The tournament is co-ed, and players of all skill levels are welcome.

  • Presentation by "Escaping North Korea" Author Mike Kim (MBA '09) (DC)

    Mark your calendar for Friday, October 23 at 6 p.m. for the Georgetown McDonough DC Alumni Ambassadors' signature event of 2015: An evening of conversation with Mike Kim (MBA '09), on his undercover journey into North Korea to smuggle refugees back across the border. Mike's story, chronicled in his book, "Escaping North Korea," now is being turned into a major motion picture. The event will be held at the Korean Cultural Center (the former Korean Embassy) on Massachusetts Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. Before the program begins, enjoy a buffet of authentic Korean food and a specialty cocktail open bar, as well as live music. Space is limited.
