Why did you choose Georgetown?

I chose Georgetown for its academic rigor, perfect city location, and the Georgetown Admissions Ambassador Program (GAAP). The GAAP program is what sealed the deal because every interaction I had with students during GAAP weekend made me feel welcome and excited to be a part of such a friendly, enthusiastic, and intellectual student body.

What is your favorite memory or proudest moment from your time at Georgetown?

My favorite memories are the nights that I stayed up late with friends, laughing, talking, and having dance parties in our rooms after studying.

What is one of the most important lessons you have learned while at Georgetown?

Georgetown taught me not to be afraid to toss out plans that I have already started working on. I have learned that life can be unpredictable, so when the old plans are not working, it is okay to go out and make new ones! What I found was that unforeseen opportunities will always come in time.

Is there a particular person that helped shape your Georgetown experience?

There are so many people! Each person, whether it was a professor, a friend, or complete stranger, played a role in creating a holistic and meaningful education for me at Georgetown.

What was your favorite class?

Heroes and Villains with Bob Bies, professor of management in the McDonough School of Business.

What are you most looking forward to as an alumna?

I am excited to apply what I have learned here at Georgetown and to bond with new students and alumni over our shared love for of this school.
