Global Business Experience
Georgetown McDonough undergraduates interested in gaining a global perspective while learning valuable consulting skills may apply to participate in BADM 290. This three-credit course meets for an intensive nine weeks and allows students the opportunity to conduct a substantive consulting project for an international business or organization (private, public, or nonprofit) under faculty supervision.
The course culminates in a major project for which students travel to the client countries for one week during spring break. Students study the particularities of the consulting project in the host country and present their findings to senior management.
Beginning in the spring semester of 2016, we will offer two sections of the GBE course, BADM 290, and students will have the choice of traveling to one of two sites:
- Barcelona, Spain
- Lille, France and Brussels, Belgium
All interested McDonough students or Global Business Fellows with junior- or senior-level standing are welcome to apply in the fall semester to take part in this course during the spring semester.
All interested students must apply to take part in this course. For more information, please contact, Assistant Dean Brancaforte.
