The McDonough School of Business (MSB) at Georgetown University anticipates hiring multiple tenure-track or tenured faculty members in Strategy, Economics and Public Policy. Applicants should have an outstanding research record, with demonstrable knowledge and interest in applied microeconomics. Excellence in research and teaching are the primary criteria for the positions. Applicants must have a Ph.D. (expected completion acceptable) from an accredited institution. One of the things that makes the Marketing Area at the McDonough School of Business unique is that our faculty research practically relevant issues in which the consumer is the unit of analysis. Regardless of their specific methodological orientation (e.g., experimental, modeling) or core discipline (e.g., psychology, economics, statistics), our marketing faculty focus on consumer-level issues. This common interest facilitates engaging discussions and collaborations among faculty.
The McDonough School of Business is committed to and promotes a strong research culture. We seek to make an appointment at the Assistant Professor level. Pending budget approval, the appointment would begin at the start of the Fall semester 2016.
