What has been the best part of your experience thus far?: The best part of my experience has been the people I have met and the connections I have built. As an international student, it can be tough to find your bearings in a new place. However, the warmth and the wealth of support (classes, settling in and even recruiting) I have received from my peers has made me feel right at ease and more importantly welcomed in the community.

What has been the best part of your experience thus far?: The best part of my experience so far has been my classmates. I am continually impressed and inspired by the diversity and depth of their pre-MBA personal and professional experiences. Every individual is committed to supporting one another. As someone who had never taken a business course before McDonough, I receive so many generous offers for help from my classmates. People go out of their way to make sure others are succeeding. Although it may sound cliche, the feeling of community is truly incredible.

Our tight knit cohort leans on each other during core classes and recruiting. We also make sure to explore Washington, D.C. together. Additionally, my classmates and I have been provided incredible opportunities with our alumni across industries, which played a huge role in securing my summer internship in investment banking.
