“The program has changed my work attitude in two ways: it has made me more aware of the economic, financial, and geopolitical principles of doing business, and it has helped me optimize long-term decisions, as well as day-to-day operations.”

Alberto Martinez (GEMBA’15)
Global IT Deployment Lead
British American Tobacco

Online Courses

While GEMBA’s six modules take place in person around the world, students also will take four online courses throughout the program — two between modules 1 and 2, and two between modules 2 and 3. These courses will cover financial statements analysis, analytics, corporate finance, and process analysis.

Company Projects

Starting in Mod 2, students will work throughout the program on individual projects on topics of their choice, preferably a strategic problem facing their organization. Projects will examine global issues related to the topic they have chosen and provide a set of recommendations the organization can implement. Students work under faculty supervision on these projects, which are completed in Mod 6.

“The program has opened my mind to new perspectives that help me enhance my analytical skills and my ways of looking at issues and markets.” Mary Machado Schammel (GEMBA’15)
Strategic Consultant Greenwich Associates
